Which product is best for drone mapping? The HB6 is our most popular choice for drone surveying, offering mosaic-X5-grade RTK accuracy in a compact form factor. The mosaic-X5 tracks GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and BeiDou simultaneously, which helps hold a fix near buildings or under tree canopy, while AIM+ anti-jamming keeps positioning stable in areas with RF interference. Choose the HB10 instead if your work needs dual-antenna heading, such as corridor mapping or accurate camera orientation while hovering. For lightweight eVTOL and small UAV payloads where every gram matters, the EV322 offers the smallest form factor. If you fly outside mobile coverage and need your own corrections, the HB21 adds an internal 4G modem for NTRIP.
Do these receivers work with Pixhawk / PX4 / ArduPilot? Yes. All Septentrio-based receivers output SBF protocol which is natively supported by ArduPilot (GPS_TYPE=9) and PX4 (GPS_TYPE=9). The HB21 also provides standard NMEA output.
